ABOUT US
Welcome to Hextra.
Hextra brings specialist trades together for homes and businesses across the Snowy Mountains and NSW Far South Coast. Electrical, solar, air conditioning, refrigeration, fire protection and hydronics, with one team, one phone number and one point of contact.
Our story
Hextra is built on three local businesses, with roots dating back to 1981. In 2024 they came together under one name, so our customers have less to organise and one team to call.
Jindabyne Refrigeration (established 1981) Our story began with Jindabyne Refrigeration, which has provided refrigeration and air conditioning services in the region since 1981. In 2015 it was purchased by the owners of Snowy Mountains Heating & Cooling and continued to operate under its own name.
Snowy Mountains Heating & Cooling (established 2000) Known in its early days as Corby’s Heating & Cooling, Snowy Mountains Heating & Cooling has provided heating and cooling services in the region since 2000. It merged with Jindabyne Refrigeration in 2015.
Sea 2 Sky Electrical (established 2017) Sea 2 Sky Electrical started as a small electrical business focused on new builds and real estate and strata work. As it grew, it expanded into solar, Level 2 electrical work and fire protection.
Bringing these businesses together as Hextra means one logo, one phone number and one contact point for customers, some of whom have worked with our founding businesses for decades.
Now part of Nexa Trades Group
In 2026, Hextra became a member of Nexa Trades Group. You’ll still deal with the same local team, on the same contact details, with the same level of service.
Being part of Nexa Trades Group gives us access to greater resources, systems, investment and support. It also gives us a stronger platform to grow our local team, create more local jobs and bring on more apprentices.
Same team. Same service. More capability. A bigger future.

What Our Clients Say
We recently used Hextra for some electrical work and were thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and completed the job to the highest standard. We also had them handle some refrigeration and solar work—again, flawless service and great attention to detail. It’s rare to find a company that covers so many areas and delivers consistent excellence across the board. Highly recommend Hextra for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality electrical, refrigeration, or solar services!

I have been using Hextra at one of my property’s in the snowy mountains. They do all the Airconditioning and Electrical work. They do a brilliant job, always on time and 10/10 workmanship. I would highly recommend them for all your Airconditioning and Electrical. Thanks team!
Jarrad Sharp
Really thrilled with the outcome of our solar panels and battery. From start to finish Daniel and the team were professional, thorough and helpful. Communication was excellent, and the delivery and installation process itself was so smooth, they travelled down the South Coast for us and helped us through the entire rebate process, how to get the best use from the system and what would work best for our property, haven’t had to buy a single kW from the grid since. Highly recommend these guys.

How great is the whole Hextra team, from the 1st call about my under floor heating to the completion of the job, I felt confident in their work considering I knew nothing about what they were doing. Gold stars. Great service, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, prompt service. We have now used Hextra twice.
